Job summary

ContactLink Solutions LLC is seeking skilled Mandarin interpreters fluent in Mandarin and English to join our team of international interpreters. This fully remote role offers flexible scheduling and a contracting arrangement.

You will handle calls, maintain high accuracy, and use industry terminology, particularly in healthcare settings. Starting immediately after onboarding, with monthly payments and remote work from your home office.

Qualifications

• Fluency in English and Mandarin.
• Minimum 2 years interpretation experience.
• Excellent listening, retention, and note-taking skills for high accuracy.
• Able to render concepts according to interpretation protocols without omissions or additions.
• Able to explain cultural concepts to avoid miscommunication when requested by the client.

Responsibilities

• Answer calls professionally, following the interpreter's code of conduct.
• Be familiar with industry-specific vocabulary, especially healthcare terminology.
• Participate in internal professional training.
• Communicate and report to your team leader.
• Based on location, language testing and background check may be required.

Candidate Qualifications:

• Fluency in English and Mandarin
• Minimum 2 year of interpretation experience
• Excellent listening, retention, and note-taking skills to maintain a high level of accuracy
• Ability to render correct concepts and meanings according to established interpretation protocols, avoiding omissions or additions
• Ability to explain certain cultural concepts to avoid miscommunication, with permission or at the request of the client

Technical Requirements:

• 90% English proficiency
• Steady wired internet connection
• USB wired headset
• Windows 10 or Mac
