ContactLink Solutions LLC seeks a skilled Mandarin interpreter to join our remote team. The role requires fluency in Mandarin and English, at least two years of interpretation experience, and the ability to maintain accuracy under fast-paced conditions.

This is a fully remote, full-time contractor position offering monthly payments and onboarding is straightforward. You will answer calls professionally, use healthcare terminology as needed, complete internal training, and report to your team

• Excellent listening, retention and note-taking skills.
• Accurate rendering of concepts per interpretation protocols.
• Ability to explain cultural concepts when needed.

As a remote interpreter, you play a significant role in facilitating communication between Mandarin and English speakers. The interpreter needs to be able to process information quickly and accurately in a professional manner. It is essential to ensure a quiet and secure environment. Notepads, writing utensils, glossaries, and dictionaries are useful tools.

Candidate Qualifications:

• Fluency in English and Mandarin
• Minimum 2 year of interpretation experience
• Excellent listening, retention, and note-taking skills to maintain a high level of accuracy
• Ability to render correct concepts and meanings according to established interpretation protocols, avoiding omissions or additions
• Ability to explain certain cultural concepts to avoid miscommunication, with permission or at the request of the client

Technical Requirements:

• 90% English proficiency
• Steady wired internet connection
• USB wired headset
• Windows 10 or Mac
