ContactLink Solutions LLC is recruiting Mandarin-English interpreters for a fully remote, full-time contractor position based in the United States. You will provide skilled interpretation between Mandarin and English, maintain accuracy, and work from your quiet home office with a wired internet connection and headset.

• Answer calls professionally, acting per interpreter's code of conduct.
• Be familiar with industry-specific vocabulary (healthcare and medical terminology).
• Participate in internal professional training.
• Communicate and report to your team leader.
• Location-based language testing and background checks may be required.

The interpreter needs to be able to process information quickly and accurately in a professional manner. It is essential to ensure a quiet and secure environment. Notepads, writing utensils, glossaries, and dictionaries are useful tools.

Candidate Qualifications:

• Fluency in English and Mandarin
• Based in US
• Minimum 2 year of interpretation experience
• Excellent listening, retention, and note-taking skills to maintain a high level of accuracy
• Ability to render correct concepts and meanings according to established interpretation protocols, avoiding omissions or additions
• Ability to explain certain cultural concepts to avoid miscommunication, with permission or at the request of the client

Technical Requirements:

• 90% English proficiency
• Steady wired internet connection
