Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in environmental studies or related field (or equivalent experience).
• 4–6 years (5–10 years preferred) of experience in permitting FERC-regulated capital development projects.
• Ability to research and prepare accurate technical documents for clients and regulators.
• Strong technical writing, verbal communication, and analytical skills.
• Experience with federal, state, and local permitting for development projects.
• Availability to travel frequently and work independently with minimal supervision.
• Driver's License required: This position requires travel to client locations across a large geographical area.

Responsibilities

• Lead author on FERC resource reports and impact deliverables.
• Research, analyze, and compile data for permit applications and regulatory reports.
• Serve as SME on large-scale projects, managing scope and health & safety aspects.
• Support technical proposals and contribute to business development initiatives.
• Engage with regulatory agencies such as FERC, USFWS, USACE, EPA, and others.
• Ensure quality control and compliance across all FERC-related applications and documentation.
