Job summary

Cardinal Health is seeking a Manager, Security Engineering & Platforms to lead multiple cybersecurity engineering functions that support enterprise detection, response, automation, and cyber defense programs.

The role combines people leadership with technical leadership across SIEM, SOAR, and cyber defense engineering. You will shape strategy, optimize platforms, and drive improvements in reliability and security outcomes.

Qualifications

• Ability to lead and motivate technical teams while balancing operational, strategic, and organizational priorities preferred.
• Experience managing cybersecurity platforms, infrastructure, or engineering functions preferred.
• Experience leading technical teams in cybersecurity, information technology, or related disciplines preferred.
• Experience supporting enterprise security technologies and the infrastructure that enables them preferred.
• Experience developing operational processes and support models for complex technical environments preferred.
• Experience with cloud infrastructure and modern enterprise technology environments preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop multiple Security Engineering & Platform teams, including supervisors, engineers, and technical specialists.
• Establish strategic direction and roadmaps for cybersecurity platforms and engineering capabilities.
• Collaborate with internal customers, technology teams, cybersecurity teams, and business stakeholders.
• Mentor team members and support their professional and technical development.
• Oversee administration, support, and optimization of enterprise security monitoring, automation, and cyber defense platforms.
• Manage infrastructure supporting cybersecurity technologies, including cloud-hosted and on-premises environments.
