Job summary

Enable Freight & Logistics is seeking an experienced Customs Compliance Specialist to own and drive regulatory compliance for US import activities. You will work closely with customers and internal teams to ensure accurate classifications, tariff calculations, and adherence to regulations.

The role emphasizes ownership, problem-solving, and cross-functional collaboration across the brokerage and entry teams, with opportunities to broaden responsibilities as the business grows.

Qualifications

• Strong U.S. customs compliance experience within a customs brokerage, freight forwarder or importer.
• Working knowledge of HTSUS classification and U.S. import regulations.
• Experience auditing CBP forms (7501), protests and PSCs is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Act as a point of contact for customer customs compliance queries.
• Advise customers on U.S. import regulations and tariff requirements.
• Manage Section 232, Section 301 and Chapter 99 tariff matters.
• Audit CBP Form 7501 entry summaries for accuracy.
• Review classification, valuation, duty and tariff application.
• Prepare and file protests and Post Summary Corrections.
• Support duty drawback activity and regulatory requirements.
