Job summary

Leader Dogs for the Blind is seeking a Manager of Personal Giving to identify and cultivate relationships with major gift donors. This role is remote but requires certain travel to connect with prospects primarily in Texas and the Southwest United States.

The ideal candidate will have extensive fundraising experience and the ability to manage a portfolio of major donors. Benefits include medical, dental, vision insurance, and a dog-friendly office.

Qualifications

• Minimum of three years of demonstrated success in developing and managing donor relationships.
• Ability to travel 25-50% of working time for donor interactions.
• Proficient in managing the entire gift cycle from identification to stewardship.

Responsibilities

• Manage a portfolio of major giving prospects and corporate partners.
• Execute moves management process to engage prospective major donors.
• Create proposals and stewardship reports ensuring timely communication.
