Job summary

Leader Dogs for the Blind, a 100% philanthropically funded international nonprofit, is seeking a strategic Manager of Personal Giving. This remote role requires residence in the Dallas Metroplex and focuses on cultivating major gifts from Texas donors.

You will manage a portfolio of up to 150 prospects, develop moves management plans, coordinate solicits and proposals, and collaborate with staff to advance the organization’s mission of independence for people who are blind.

Qualifications

• Minimum of three (3) years of demonstrated success in nonprofit fundraising, major gifts, relationship management, or a related field.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience as listed in qualifications.
• Experience managing a portfolio of major gift prospects and donors using moves management.

Responsibilities

• Strategically manages a personal portfolio of up to 150 major gifts prospects in Texas.
• Executes a moves management process to identify, qualify, cultivate, solicit, and steward prospective major donors.
• Develops individualized solicitation strategies based on donor interests and Philanthropic priorities.
