Job summary

Forest Home, Inc. is seeking a passionate Major Gifts Officer to grow our mission through meaningful donor relationships and transformational giving.

This remote role focuses on identifying, cultivating, soliciting, and stewarding individuals capable of giving $15,000+ annually in support of programs, scholarships, and capital needs. Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of major gift fundraising experience.
• Demonstrated success securing individual gifts of $70,000+ and growing a donor portfolio year over year.
• Committed follower of Jesus Christ with a heart for ministry and alignment with Forest Home's faith values.
• Strong presentation and written communication skills; professional in interactions with donors, board, and leadership.

Responsibilities

• Manage a portfolio of approximately 250 major donors and prospects.
• Lead all stages of the donor cycle: identification, qualification, cultivation, solicitation, follow-up, stewardship, and recognition.
• Create cultivation, solicitation, and stewardship plans for each donor in the portfolio.
• Schedule weekly donor visits, virtual meetings, and calls; host on-site camp tours for donors and prospects.
