Forest Home, Inc. is seeking a strategic Major Gift Officer to grow its mission through meaningful donor relationships and transformational giving.

The MGO will identify, cultivate, solicit, and steward individuals capable of giving $15,000+ annually, and will manage a portfolio of high-capacity donors. Reporting to the Chief Development Officer, the MGO will drive a coordinated pipeline from mid-level to major and planned giving, traveling to meet donors and partnering with the Annual Fund

Formación

• Minimum 5 years of major gift fundraising experience.
• Proven success securing individual gifts of $70,000+ and growing a donor portfolio year over year.
• Strong presentation skills and excellent written communication.
• Poise and professionalism with donors, board members, and executives.
• Self-motivated with the discipline to manage a full calendar of donor visits.
• Strong attention to detail, discernment, and high emotional intelligence.
• Valid driver’s license, reliable transportation, and ability to travel regularly.

Responsabilidades

• Manage a portfolio of approximately 250 major donors and prospects.
• Lead all stages of the donor cycle: identification, cultivation, solicitation, stewardship, and recognition.
• Develop individualized cultivation and solicitation plans for each donor.
• Conduct weekly donor meetings and visits (in person, virtual, and by phone).
• Partner with the Chief Development Officer to set annual major gift goals and strategy.
• Secure major gifts for annual funds, capital campaigns, scholarships, and special projects.
• Prepare proposals, cases for support, and donor presentations.
