Job summary

Forest Home Christian Camps is seeking a passionate Major Gifts Officer to grow the mission through donor relationships and transformational giving. The MGO identifies, cultivates, solicits, and steward s individuals capable of giving $15,000+ annually to support programs, scholarships, and capital needs.

Reporting to the Chief Development Officer, the MGO manages a portfolio of high-capacity donors and collaborates with the Annual Fund Coordinator to build a coordinated pipeline for mid-level

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of major gift fundraising experience.
• Demonstrated success securing individual gifts of $70,000+ and growing donor portfolios.
• Committed follower of Jesus Christ with heart for ministry and alignment with Forest Home's values.
• Strong presentation and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage a portfolio of ~250 major donors and prospects.
• Lead all stages of donor cycle: identification, cultivation, solicitation, stewardship.
• Develop individual cultivation, solicitation, and stewardship plans for each donor.
• Conduct weekly donor meetings (face-to-face, virtual, calls).
• Open new relationships via referrals and networking.
• Host on-site camp tours for donors and prospects.
