Forest Home, Inc. is seeking a passionate Major Gift Officer to grow philanthropic support through donor relationships and strategic campaigns.

The MGO will manage a portfolio of high-capacity donors, advance mid-level to major gifts, and collaborate with the Chief Development Officer and Annual Fund Coordinator in a donor pipeline driven by faith and mission. Remote, with summer and regional travel across the West; candidates with 5+ years fundraising and proven gifts of $70k+ preferred.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of major gift fundraising experience.
• Proven success securing individual gifts of $70,000+ and growing donor portfolios.
• Committed follower of Jesus Christ with a heart for ministry.
• Strong presentation and written communication skills.
• Self-motivated with the ability to manage a full calendar of donor visits.
• Willingness to travel regularly (as required).

Responsibilities

• Manage a portfolio of approximately 250 major donors and prospects.
• Lead all stages of the donor cycle: identification, qualification, cultivation, solicitation, stewardship.
• Develop individual cultivation and solicitation plans for each donor.
• Conduct weekly donor meetings via in-person, virtual, or phone.
• Open new relationships through referrals and networking.
• Host on-site camp tours for donors and prospects.
