Job summary

Gatik is seeking a Maintenance Planner to maintain fleet uptime and reliability across commercial and R&D operations. You will lead maintenance activity prioritization, recall and service campaign management, and vehicle logistics orchestration, reporting to the Director of Fleet and Maintenance Strategy.

Qualifications

• 3–5+ years in fleet management, logistics, maintenance coordination, or heavy vehicle operations.
• Experience with DOT and FMCSA inspection requirements is a plus.
• Strong understanding of fleet maintenance management systems and Work Order workflows.
• Excellent cross-functional communication and vendor management skills.
• Attention to detail and compliance with auditing standards.

Responsibilities

• Set and communicate truck repair priorities for commercial and R&D teams based on schedules.
• Balance competing operational demands to maximize fleet uptime.
• Optimize base vehicle repair and maintenance scheduling with AV maintenance scheduling and upfits.
• Coordinate factory recalls and campaign service initiatives across the fleet for regulatory compliance and safety.
• Coordinate truck moves across manufacturers, build sites, up-fitters, and markets with stakeholders.
• Schedule maintenance, campaigns, recalls, and updates against bay capacity and technician availability.
• Audit Work Orders for compliance with policies and drive continuous improvement.
• Ensure diagnostic logs, fault codes, sensor calibrations, and post-repair sign-offs are logged per DOT/FMCSA and company policy.
