Job summary

Rocket Software seeks a highly skilled Mainframe Modernization Solutions Architect to analyze, design, and implement modernization strategies for customers' digital journeys. This hands-on role leads technical teams and delivers scalable, cloud-enabled mainframe solutions.

You will work across Infrastructure, Application, and Process modernization, guiding customers and partners worldwide, crafting proofs of concept, and sharing architectural guidance and best practices.

Qualifications

• Advanced degree in Computer Science or related field.
• 4–10 years of experience leading mainframe modernization.
• Experience migrating mainframe to Rocket Enterprise Server.
• Cloud provider knowledge: AWS, Azure, GCP.
• Certifications like AWS Solution Architect Professional, SAFe, etc.
• Fluent in written and verbal English.

Responsibilities

• Design scalable, high-availability solutions on Rocket Enterprise Portfolio.
• Lead technical teams across customers and SI partners.
• Create proofs of concept technology analysis and pilots.
• Deliver customer and peer presentations and trainings.
• Provide architectural guidance to promote customer engagements worldwide.
• Develop technical content for blogs, whitepapers, and conferences.
