Job summary

Turtle Trax S.A. is seeking a Mainframe Engineer - Professional to lead and support mainframe tooling for our Claims Application. The role emphasizes designing, documenting and programming within a z/OS environment and coordinating with the development community.

The ideal candidate will be highly proficient in COBOL, DB2, CICS and JCL, and comfortable working with IBM ISPF/TSO,E VSAM and related utilities. Strong English skills and remote work are a plus.

Qualifications

• Proficient in COBOL, DYL280, DB2, CICS and JCL in a z/OS environment.
• Experience establishing CICS table entries for new programs, transactions and files.
• Knowledge of IBM products: z/OS, DB2 for z/OS, ISPF, TSO/E, VSAM, JCL, IBM Utilities, PDS/PDSE.

Responsibilities

• Lead design, documentation, programming and support tools for Mainframe development.
• Coordinate with the Claims Application team and other developers.
• Work independently with minimal supervision and drive implementations.
