Job summary

Zillion Technologies, Inc. is seeking an experienced Mainframe Developer/Engineer for a remote, contract role. The candidate will work on mainframe application development, maintenance, modernization, and production support using IBM z/OS technologies.

Required qualifications include COBOL, JCL, DB2, and CICS with extensive exposure to batch processing, scheduling, and file handling. Strong debugging and performance optimization skills are essential, along with familiarity with ChangeMan/Endevor

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in IBM z/OS mainframe environments.
• Strong programming experience in COBOL, JCL, DB2, and CICS.
• Experience with VSAM, TSO/ISPF, and mainframe utilities.
• Strong understanding of batch processing, job scheduling, and file handling.
• Experience with mainframe debugging and performance optimization.
• Familiarity with ChangeMan, Endevor, or similar source code management tools.
• Experience supporting mission-critical enterprise applications.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and communication skills.
