Job summary

VALCE T@lent Solutions is seeking a skilled mainframe support engineer to troubleshoot issues by analyzing data and identifying root causes, reading and debugging COBOL, and collaborating with product teams. You will work with DB2, SQL, JCL, CICS, VSAM and IBM MQ, supporting SDLC on the mainframe, providing client reporting, and assisting business units with global market insights.

Strong English, multitasking, and problem-solving abilities are required, with opportunities to automate processes

Qualifications

Proficiency in writing and debugging COBOL.
Experience with DB2, SQL, JCL, CICS, and VSAM.
Experience working with IBM MQ and SDLC on mainframe.
Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Ability to multitask and handle issues from multiple customers simultaneously.
Business acumen regarding global markets and financial products.
Advanced English language proficiency.

Responsibilities

Troubleshoot technical issues by analyzing data and identifying root causes.
Read and debug source code to develop solutions and collaborate with product development teams for fixes.
Create tools to automate key processes.
Assist product users, Operations, and Business teams via meetings, phone, email, and chat.
Support clearing business, including CCP connectivity and client reporting.
