Job summary

Truist is seeking a seasoned Mainframe Developer to deliver complex software solutions for critical mainframe applications. You will design, develop, test, implement, and support across the software lifecycle, partnering with business product owners and technology teams to meet objectives.

The role requires 5 years of experience in IBM z/OS environments, with strong COBOL, JCL, CICS, DB2, and VSAM skills. Knowledge of ESP/TWS/CA7 and deployment tools is highly valued.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Software Engineering, or related field with 5 years of relevant experience or equivalent education and training.
• In-depth knowledge of information systems and ability to identify, apply, and implement IT best practices.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, analyze, test, implement, and maintain complex application solutions for mainframe environments.
• Lead and participate in development, testing, implementation, maintenance, and support of highly complex solutions.
