Job summary

Precision Technologies in the United States remote role is seeking a Mainframe DBB Expert with 7+ years of IBM DBB, DevOps transformation, and modernization experience to lead build automation on z/OS. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to advance CI/CD, source control, and automation.

The ideal candidate works hands-on with COBOL, JCL, CICS, DB2, z/OS, IDz, YAML pipelines, and Groovy. This role offers a remote setup on a 1-year project, with fast-paced modernization initiatives.

Qualifications

• 7+ years in IBM Mainframe development, DevOps transformation, and modernization.
• Hands-on DBB build automation and dependency management.
• Git-based source control using GitHub/GitLab/Bitbucket.
• Strong Mainframe DevOps, CI/CD, and Agile practices.
• Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, Azure DevOps or similar tools.
• Groovy scripting and YAML-based pipeline development.
• Python, REXX, or Shell scripting for automation.
• Familiar with Endevor, Changeman, or other SCM tools.
• Experience with REST/JSON/XML, Zowe, IDz, and z/OS Connect.
• Experience in Mainframe modernization programs.
