Job summary

Precision Technologies is seeking a seasoned Mainframe DBB Expert for remote work in the United States. The role focuses on IBM DBB-based build automation, DevOps transformation, and modernization initiatives with strong hands-on experience in CI/CD, Git-based workflows, and related tooling.

Responsibilities include designing automated build solutions, integrating DBB with Git, and leading modernization efforts across dev and operations teams. 7+ years of experience required.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of experience in IBM Mainframe application development and DevOps modernization.
• Hands-on expertise in IBM DBB, CI/CD automation, and Git-based development practices.
• Strong knowledge of mainframe SCM tools and DevOps tooling.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain automated build solutions using IBM DBB.
• Implement and support Git-based development workflows for mainframe apps.
• Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, or Azure DevOps.
• Configure and optimize dependency/impact analysis and incremental builds with DBB.
• Integrate DBB with Git repositories and enterprise DevOps toolchains.
• Automate build, test, deployment, and release processes via scripting.
• Support SCM migration initiatives from Endevor/Changeman to Git-based systems.
• Collaborate with Development, Infra, and DevOps teams on modern practices.
• Create and maintain technical docs, frameworks, standards, and procedures.
• Support Mainframe Modernization and DevOps adoption through automation.
• Troubleshoot build, deployment, and pipeline issues across environments.
