Qualifications

• 5+ years hands-on mainframe application development using COBOL, JCL, VSAM and batch processing environments.
• Strong banking domain experience in core modules such as deposits, loans, customer & account management, general ledger and tax.
• Experience with mainframe tools like Endevor, Xpediter and Easytrieve.
• Knowledge of CICS and IMS is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, enhance, test, and maintain mainframe applications supporting core banking operations.
• Analyze requirements and translate them into mainframe solutions.
• Develop and support batch processing jobs using COBOL, JCL, VSAM and related tools.
• Perform debugging, troubleshooting, defect resolution, and production support.
• Collaborate with analysts, architects, testers, and stakeholders to implement enhancements.
• Participate in code reviews, unit testing, SIT/UAT, and deployment activities.
