Job summary

Texas Sports Academy is seeking an IT/MDM QA Consultant for a short-term, part-time contract to review our Mac deployment and classroom tooling. You will audit deployment flows, assess TCC/PPPC configurations, and stress-test the student experience to identify gaps and risks.

You will deliver practical feedback to engineering and IT teams, propose tooling and standards, and help scale our processes in a fully remote setup.

Qualifications

• Extensive hands-on MDM deployment experience across multiple platforms.
• Experience auditing PKG deployment, signing and notarization for Mac fleet.
• Fluency in configuring TCC and PPPC profiles and prompts for managed apps.

Responsibilities

• Review QA processes for internal Mac tooling and identify gaps.
• Audit MDM deployment flows and suggest improvements and rollback gaps.
• Evaluate TCC and PPPC configuration for privacy compliance and predictability.
• Pressure-test the student experience on managed Macs during updates or failures.
• Provide clear, actionable feedback to engineering and IT teams.
• Recommend tooling and standards to scale processes as the fleet grows.
