Job summary

Cornerstone Building Brands seeks an IT operations engineer focused on Microsoft 365 automation and platform reliability. The role emphasizes reducing manual work through self-service and well-architected changes across Exchange Online, Entra ID, and Teams.

You will own automation, documentation, and safe deployment practices while supporting security, compliance, and the service desk. Remote-friendly with occasional on-call responsibilities and team collaboration.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of hands-on M365 administration in production environments.
• Strong scripting and automation mindset with a bias for root-cause analysis.
• Excellent documentation and communication for non-technical colleagues.

Responsibilities

• Automate repetitive IT tasks and build fixes to reduce ticket volume.
• Develop self-service capabilities for access requests and group management.
• Document changes, runbooks, and rationale for releases and updates.
• Coordinate with security/compliance to ensure proper labeling and permissions hygiene.
