Job summary

Springline Advisory in the United States seeks a senior Microsoft 365 Engineer to own the architecture, configuration, and operations of our enterprise M365 tenant, including Identity, Collaboration, and Data Governance.

This role blends platform strategy with hands‑on delivery, guiding adoption of new capabilities, enforcing security controls, and partnering with IT leadership, information security, and MSPs.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of information technology experience with 5+ years administering and supporting M365 and/or Azure, including lead/architect responsibilities.
• Strong working knowledge of M365 security and data governance features, including conditional access and Purview.

Responsibilities

• Own the architecture, configuration standards, and operational maturity of the Microsoft M365 platform, including Exchange, Entra, OneDrive, SharePoint, Intune, and Purview.
• Lead the technical implementation and guide organizational adoption of new and/or changed capabilities.
• Design and operate identity management activities, including permissions management, single sign-on integrations, permission access reviews, and conditional access policies.
• Improve and maintain data protection and compliance controls within M365, including Purview Data Loss Prevention (DLP) and data retention policies.
• Build and maintain production-grade automation using industry-standard tooling, including AI-assisted development where it accelerates delivery while maintaining ownership.
• Collaborate with MSPs to maintain platform health and contribute to Azure architecture (VDI, VMs, containers, Azure Functions).
• Define and own mobile access architecture for iOS and Android.
• Participate in integrating email/M365 tenants for acquisitions and manage enterprise messaging and global mail flow.
