Job summary

Aperture is seeking a Director of M&A Integration to own onboarding and first-year integration for every acquired firm or recruited practice. You will manage LOI through diligence, closing, and 180 days of onboarding, coordinating Finance, HR, Legal, IT, and Marketing teams, and reporting milestones to leadership.

The role emphasizes hands-on design of the onboarding playbook, tools, and process, with travel ~25% and a hybrid/remote work model from the United States.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher in business, finance, accounting, engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
• Eight or more years in M&A integration, corporate development, or operations at an acquisitive company, including five or more years leading integrations end to end.
• Personally led the integration of five or more acquired companies from diligence through stabilization, including founder-led professional services firms of roughly five to fifty people.

Responsibilities

• Join each deal from LOI, participate in diligence, and convert findings into the onboarding plan before closing, including risks and value levers.
• Build the functional workplan with Finance, HR, Legal, IT, and Marketing, including Day 1 requirements.
• Own the master onboarding plan for each acquired firm and lead weekly onboarding calls from Day 1 to 180.
• Surface roadblocks and opportunities early and elevate decisions to the executive sponsor.
• Close out each firm at Day 180 against onboarding completion conditions.
