Job summary

MergerCircle, a tech-enabled buy-side M&A advisory, is seeking a French-speaking M&A Associate to own client projects from outreach to final introductions. You will lead conversations with targets in French and English, supervise analysts, and help optimize sourcing workflows while traveling occasionally for team events.

You will join a remote-first, fast-growing firm serving European clients, with a strong emphasis on high-quality execution and cross-border origination.

Qualifications

• Professional fluency in French (C1 minimum) and business proficiency in English are required.
• 1–3 years of experience in M&A, private equity, transaction services, strategy consulting or audit is preferred.
• Exposure to deal sourcing, origination or fast-growth environments is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Own delivery of client mandates end-to-end from search criteria to target longlist and introductions.
• Lead outreach and qualification conversations in French and English with target company management.
• Supervise one or two analysts or data specialists on projects; provide feedback and training.
• Identify bottlenecks in delivery and propose fixes; collaborate with Tech to improve sourcing and outreach tools.
