Job summary

Siemens AG in the greater Los Angeles area seeks a Construction Sales Engineer for Low/Medium Voltage switchgear to drive distributor and electrical contractor opportunities. You will build a robust sales pipeline and use SieSales for forecasting.

Role includes developing strategic accounts to maximize revenue, ensuring customer satisfaction, and contributing to growth with a hybrid work model in the LA market. Travel up to 5% is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree or HS Diploma with related work experience considered
• 5+ years of sales experience
• Ability to travel 5% of the time
• Applicants must be legally authorized for employment in the United States without sponsorship

Responsibilities

• Develop and support Distributors and Electrical Contractor opportunities with focus on area Construction Channel
• Provide market presence and channel support to achieve share growth
• Fully utilize SieSales to develop and forecast contractor opportunities
• Support products including Panelboards, Switchboards, MV gear, Lighting Panels, LV Switchgear, Busway, MCCs, MCCBs, IEC/NEMA controls, Safety Switches, and Residential Products
• Build and maintain a business plan by cultivating a sales pipeline and managing existing customers
• Develop and implement plans for strategic accounts exceeding revenue retention/growth and customer satisfaction
