Job summary

Siemens is seeking a seasoned Sales Engineer for Low/Medium Voltage switchgear in the NJ/ NYC market. The role is remote/hybrid and emphasizes development of distributors and electrical contractor opportunities, plus building a robust sales pipeline with a focus on channel growth.

You will support distributors and contractors, utilize SieSales for forecasting, and manage relationships with senior customers to drive revenue and profitability. Travel up to 5% and US work authorization required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree (required).
• 5+ years of sales experience OR 10+ years of sales experience.
• Ability to travel 5% of the time.
• Applicants must be legally authorized for employment in the United States without need for current or future employer-sponsored work authorization.

Responsibilities

• Development and support of Distributors and Electrical Contractor opportunities with focus on the Construction Channel.
• Provide market presence and channel support to achieve share growth in the NJ/NYC market.
• Fully utilize SieSales to develop and forecast contractor opportunities.
• Product support for panelboards, switchboards, MV gear, lighting panels, LV switchgear, busway, MCCs, MCCBs, IEC/NEMA control, safety switches.
