Job summary

Siemens is seeking a seasoned Sales Engineer for Low/Medium Voltage switchgear in the NJ/ NYC market. The role is remote/hybrid within the greater NJ/ NYC area, focusing on developing distributors and electrical contractor opportunities.

You will use SieSales to forecast opportunities, build a strong pipeline, and provide product support across a broad MV/LV portfolio. Travel up to 5% may be required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required.
• 5+ years of sales experience OR 10+ years of sales experience.
• Must be able to travel 5% of the time.
• Applicants must be legally authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Develop and support distributors and electrical contractor opportunities, focusing on area Construction Channel.
• Provide market presence and channel support to grow share in NJ/NYC.
• Fully utilize SieSales to develop and forecast contractor opportunities.
• Provide product support for panelboards, switchboards, MV gear, lighting panels, and related LV/MV products.
• Build and maintain a sales pipeline by cultivating opportunities and managing customers.
• Develop and execute strategic accounts plans to drive revenue retention and growth, profitability, and loyalty.
