Job summary

Harbour Outdoor, Inc. is seeking an External Trade Sales Representative to grow our luxury trade business within an assigned territory.

This in-house, field-based role focuses on developing new business and relationships within the design community, driving territory growth, and engaging key accounts. The role requires travel across the territory, regular client meetings, and participation in High Point Market each spring and fall.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of outside, territory, trade, or business-development sales experience.
• Experience within luxury furnishings, interiors, architectural products, or design-driven industries preferred.
• Existing relationships within the A&D and luxury trade community are highly valued.
• Polished, professional presence with an appreciation for luxury design and service.

Responsibilities

• Develop and grow relationships with interior designers, architects, builders, and other luxury trade professionals.
• Generate new business through prospecting, networking, referrals, presentations, and regular field activity.
• Conduct client meetings, product presentations, and lunch-and-learns.
• Maintain an active sales pipeline and track opportunities and client activity in CRM.
• Build strong knowledge of Harbour collections, materials, finishes, and capabilities.
• Participate in weekly sales calls and team meetings to review pipeline, activity, opportunities, and priorities.
• Attendance at High Point Market each spring and fall is an essential part of the role.
• Frequent travel throughout the year is expected, with an emphasis on consistent in-person engagement and relationship-building within the design community and key accounts.
