Job summary

Armstrong Transport Group (ATG) is seeking an LTL Invoice Resolution Specialist to research and resolve carrier invoice discrepancies, billing exceptions, and accessorial charges while supporting ATG agents, customers, carriers, and internal teams. You will review invoices, validate charges against pricing, and manage disputes through resolution with carriers and internal stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Experience in transportation, logistics, billing, AP/AR, or invoice-resolution.
• Strong attention to detail when reviewing rates, charges, and docs.
• Analytical, investigative, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to manage many issues by urgency and aging.
• Excellent written and verbal communication with stakeholders.
• Proactive ownership from research to resolution.

Responsibilities

• Review LTL carrier invoices to identify discrepancies between quoted, contracted, and billed charges.
• Research and resolve billing exceptions including reweighs, reclasses, accessorials, and duplicates.
• Validate charges against pricing agreements, tariffs, docs, weights, and freight class.
• Submit disputes with documentation and follow-up to obtain credit or corrections.
• Communicate with carriers to challenge unsupported charges and obtain adjustments.
• Collaborate with ATG agents, operations, pricing, billing, claims, and accounting.
• Track disputes and aging items with notes and proactive follow-up.
