Job summary

IMEG Corporation seeks a Technology Designer to support design and oversight of low-voltage systems in buildings. You will work with engineers and consultants to deliver engineering solutions that benefit clients and meet project goals.

You will assist planning, documentation, budgeting, and client communication, collaborating across disciplines and teams to ensure quality and on-time delivery.

Qualifications

• Associates degree or certificate in BIM or Engineering preferred.
• Minimum 3 years, 4 preferred, in building design consulting or construction.
• Knowledge of low-voltage systems design for buildings.
• Experience with BIM software, especially Revit.
• Strong communication and teamwork.
• Ability to travel up to 50%.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the design and analysis of IT structured cabling, A/V, security, and other low-voltage building systems.
• Create detailed designs, specifications, and calculations according to code requirements and IMEG standards.
• Interact with clients to understand needs and communicate technical information.
• Assist in project planning, scheduling, and budgeting.
• Support project execution and quality control.
