Job summary

IMEG Corporation is seeking a Technology Designer to support analysis, design, and implementation oversight of low-voltage technology systems in buildings. You will collaborate with engineers and consultants to deliver solutions that meet client goals.

You will assist in planning, documentation, budgeting, and client communication, working across multidisciplinary teams while adhering to IMEG standards and safety requirements, with hybrid/remote work options and travel up to 50%.

Qualifications

• Associates degree or BIM/Engineering certificate preferred.
• 3+ years in building design consulting or construction.
• Strong communication and teamwork abilities.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the design and analysis of low-voltage building systems such as IT cabling, AV, security.
• Create detailed designs, specifications, and calculations per code and IMEG standards.
• Interact with clients to gather requirements and communicate technical information.
• Build and maintain client relationships through professional communication.
• Support project planning and scheduling to meet deadlines and objectives.
• Document design decisions and monitor progress within the project budget.
• Collaborate with senior engineers to develop practical solutions.
• Stay updated on low-voltage ICT trends and best practices.
