Job summary

IMEG Corporation is seeking a Technology Designer to support analysis, design, and oversight of low-voltage technology systems in buildings. You will work with engineers to deliver engineering solutions for clients and assist in planning, documentation, budgeting, and client communication.

You will collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, participate in project planning, QC, and ensure designs meet IMEG standards while staying current with ICT industry trends.

Qualifications

• Associates degree, or certificate, in Building Information Modeling (BIM) or Engineering preferred.
• 3 years of experience minimum required, 4 preferred, in the building design consulting or construction industry.
• Knowledge of design techniques, tools, and concepts involved in the production of technical plans and specifications.
• Strong technical and analytical skills including knowledge of electrical voltage/current, digital/analog signals, basic IT networking topologies and protocols for low-voltage systems design.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the design and analysis of IT structured cabling, audio/video, security, and other low-voltage building systems.
• Utilize engineering software to create detailed designs, specifications, and calculations.
• Interact with clients to understand their needs and communicate technical information effectively.
• Build and maintain client relationships through professional communication.
• Support project execution from planning to documentation, budgeting, and scheduling tasks.
