Job summary

Johnson Controls is seeking a dynamic Pre-Construction Low Voltage Electrical Estimator to lead installation cost modeling, subcontractor selection, and price development for major projects. You will coordinate with the Major Projects Team, align procurement activities, and ensure compliant, competitive субcontract pricing.

Required are 5+ years in Estimating, electrical industry knowledge, and strong MS Office and estimating software experience.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years Estimating experience.
• Electrical industry knowledge preferred (Journeyman Electrician, Supervisor, Estimator, or degree).
• Strong communication with Sales, Operations and customers.

Responsibilities

• Partner with Sales during project development to own Subcon Installation pricing and strategy.
• Review SOWs, qualify Subcon requirements, and bid leveling.
• Manage subcontractor quotes, procurement activities, and supplier relationships.
