Job summary

Red River Pharmacy Long Term Care is hiring a Long Term Care Order Entry Specialist for a remote role based in Arkansas. The ideal candidate will enter prescriptions, maintain patient records, and collaborate with pharmacists and healthcare facilities to ensure timely processing.

Candidates should have LTC pharmacy/order entry experience, be detail-oriented, and possess strong data entry and communication skills.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Licensed with Arkansas State Board of Pharmacy as a Pharmacy Technician, or eligible to obtain licensure.
• Experience with Long Term Care pharmacy and order entry is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Enter prescription orders accurately and efficiently into the pharmacy system.
• Review prescriptions for completeness and accuracy.
• Communicate with nursing facilities, physicians' offices, and pharmacy staff for clarification.
• Maintain accurate patient medication profiles.
• Process medication changes, refills, and new admissions.
