Job summary

Genworth is seeking a Long Term Care Actuary, Controllership Oversight, to govern LTC models and processes from a remote US location, reporting to the LTC Model Governance team. The role emphasizes valuation, projections, data flows, and controls to ensure compliance with company and actuarial standards.

You will review existing controls, collaborate with Operations and IT on data issues, and provide governance peer review support for model development.

Qualifications

• BS/BA degree in mathematics, statistics, actuarial science, business/finance, or related field.
• FSA designation or ASA with commensurate experience required.
• 5+ years actuarial experience, preferably LTC.
• Ability to meet project deadlines and manage multiple priorities.
• Knowledge of actuarial valuation, projections and experience analysis.

Responsibilities

• Review existing controls for key high-risk processes and make improvement recommendations.
• Collaborate with Operations and IT on administration system and data issues and controls.
• Provide governance peer review support for LTC actuarial models and processes.
