CEVA Logistics is seeking a US-based Transportation/Customs supervisor who can coordinate logistics activities, oversee compliance, and deliver superior customer service for imported/exported goods. The role requires leadership, regulatory knowledge, and strong communication skills.

Formación

• Education: High School Diploma or GED. Four years related experience. Supervisory experience required.
• Bachelor’s degree in International Business, Logistics or related discipline preferred.
• Credentials: ITAR, Import Brokerage, Export Compliance, Hazmat knowledge.
• Proven ability to supervise, train staff and manage customer relations.

Responsabilidades

• Develop and provide excellent customer service to internal and external customers at all times.
• Provide supervision and control for all departmental activities; assist retention and training efforts; conduct staff meetings.
• Oversee shipment documentation accuracy; review invoices, bills of lading, shipping statements for compliance.
• Compute duties, tariffs, weight, and volume for imports/exports; liaise with customs officials to resolve delays.
• Establish and revise policies for customs clearance operations.
• Identify areas of concern in import/export processes via audits and client reviews.
• Communicate with operations manager about progress; maintain flexible work hours; assist in department projects.
