Job summary

TestEquity is seeking a Location Support Specialist to stock and manage vendor managed inventory on-site at Moorpark, CA, and remotely support multiple locations. The role emphasizes on-site customer interactions, accurate inventory in VMI software, and safe, organized stockroom practices.

Responsibilities include receiving shipments, cycle counts, maintaining clean areas, and coordinating with the sales team to fulfill on-site needs.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• 2+ years of Customer Service is required.
• Inventory Management experience is preferred.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Must have a reliable mode of transportation.
• Must be willing to travel to customer sites in the designated area.
• Effective communicator, comfortable interacting with customers and the sales team in person, over the phone, and email.
• Must be computer literate and able navigate required software programs including Microsoft Teams and Microsoft Outlook.
• Stockroom experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Receives and stocks weekly and emergency replenishment shipments.
• Inspects weekly replenishment shipments to ensure correct quantities and products have arrived on site.
• Completes inventory cycle counts on a weekly or quarterly basis to ensure accurate inventory levels.
• Maintains vendor managed inventory areas clean, safe, organized, and labeled per company standards.
• Resolves on-site customer issues promptly and accurately to retain customer loyalty.
• Works with the team to accomplish goals and resolve on-site issues.
• Interacts with customers to discuss on-site needs and forwards these to the sales team.
• Regularly communicates with sales team and customers as needed.
• Takes ownership for meeting individual and team metrics and standards.
• Completes administrative tasks on non-scheduled stock days (Up to 2 hours per week).
• Indirectly responsible for product quality.
• Other duties as assigned.
