Job summary

TestEquity is seeking a Location Support Specialist to stock and manage vendor managed inventory on-site at various locations. You will ensure inventory is accurately reflected in our VM software and maintain safe, organized areas.

Responsibilities include receiving shipments, cycle counts, resolving customer issues, and coordinating with sales to meet on-site needs. Strong communication and reliability are essential for success in this on-site role.

Qualifications

• Requires a high school diploma or GED.
• Minimum 2+ years in customer service.
• Inventory management experience preferred.
• Must be 18+ and have reliable transportation.
• Willingness to travel to customer sites in designated area.
• Ability to pass background check and drug screening.
• Proficient with Microsoft Teams and Outlook.

Responsibilities

• Receive and stock weekly and emergency replenishment shipments.
• Inspect shipments to confirm quantities and products are correct.
• Perform weekly or quarterly inventory cycle counts in VM inventory software.
• Maintain clean, safe, organized, and labeled vendor managed inventory areas.
• Resolve on-site customer issues promptly to promote loyalty.
• Coordinate with sales team to fulfill on-site needs.
• Communicate updates to customers and sales team regularly.
• Complete non-scheduled stock day administrative tasks (up to 2 hours weekly).
• Indirectly support product quality through accurate stocking and labeling.

Summary / Position Purpose:The Location Support Specialist is a customer facing team member who provides superior service by stocking and managing vendor managed inventory on site at various locations.
