Job summary

Fulton Bank, N.A. is seeking an Associate - Loan Syndications to support structuring, underwriting, and closing syndicated credit facilities for corporate, CRE, and sponsor-backed clients.

You will collaborate with Relationship Managers, Syndications Originators, Credit, Portfolio Management, and Capital Markets to deliver deals end-to-end. The role requires strong financial analysis, credit underwriting, market knowledge, and project management, with capacity to travel up to 50% as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in finance, accounting, economics, business, or related field.
• 3+ years in commercial banking, corporate banking, leveraged finance, credit analysis, or portfolio management.
• 2+ years loan syndications; underwriting and syndicating middle-market or large corporate credit.
• Series 7, 63 and 79 (preferred).
• Strong financial statement analysis and credit underwriting skills.
• Advanced proficiency in Excel, Word, PowerPoint and Syndtrak.
• Knowledge of syndicated lending structures, loan documentation, and capital markets concepts.
• Familiarity with Bloomberg, Capital IQ, Refinitiv, or similar financial information platforms.

Responsibilities

• Transaction Execution: Support the structuring and execution of syndicated loan transactions, including revolving credit facilities, term loans, acquisition financings, recapitalizations, and refinancings.
• Financial and Credit Analysis: Analyze historical and projected financial performance of corporate borrowers; build and maintain financial models; evaluate credit risks.
• Market and Portfolio Support: Monitor syndicated loan market activity, pricing trends, lender appetite, and maintain market databases.
• Client and Lender Interaction: Participate in client meetings, lender calls, and internal deal discussions; develop working relationships with banks and lenders.
• Willingness to travel up to 50% of the time.
