Job summary

Commercial Bank of California is hiring a Loan Servicing Specialist II in a fully remote role with California coverage. The job focuses on post-closing loan servicing for real estate, construction, commercial, consumer, SBA, and other loan types, including boarding at closing, payment processing, and reconciliations.

You will ensure regulatory compliance, prepare reports, and support multiple departments under SLAs while maintaining accurate loan records and efficient processing.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required; minimum 5 years of loan processing and accounting experience.
• Desirable: proficient in loan accounting and servicing functions for commercial/business and real estate lending.

Responsibilities

• Process loan disbursement paperwork and board new/modified loans in the accounting system.
• Handle loan payments, paydowns, payoffs and related billing activities.
• Maintain loan data accuracy and respond to information requests from branches.
• Process wires and provide servicing support within SLAs.
• Balance GL data with loan system reports and prepare reconveyances as needed.
