Job summary

Carrington Mortgage Services is seeking a Loan Servicing Quality Assurance Analyst to apply analytical, testing, and documentation skills to ensure compliance with internal policies, investor guidelines, and applicable laws. The role emphasizes audit-ready testing across life-of-loan processes and requires collaboration with servicing units.

The position offers a remote-friendly schedule and a competitive target pay range of $27.00–$29.00 per hour, plus benefits.

Qualifications

• High school diploma required; bachelor’s degree or equivalent job experience preferred.
• 3+ years’ experience in mortgage/loan servicing.
• 2+ years’ experience with quality data analysis, testing and reporting.
• Knowledge of mortgage industry terminology and servicing timelines.
• Knowledge of loan servicing technology.
• Proficient in MS Office with basic Excel skills.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, collaboration and technical skills.
• Strong time management skills.
• Ability to adapt to changes and meet deadlines.
• Ability to understand, remember, and communicate routine information.

Responsibilities

• Complete thorough assessment of document provisioning and remediation plans and identify items needing clarification.
• Evaluate remediation plans to ensure compliance and sufficiency.
• Create and maintain documentation of processes, reports, and procedures.
• Conduct testing for low/medium risk findings to ensure plan implementation and remediation.
• Identify exceptions and notify management of observations outside testing scope.
• Obtain approval of testing per department procedures.
• Perform loan data analysis to validate and communicate results to servicing units.
• Perform recurring testing as assigned.
• Research findings and propose initial responses to business units.
• Utilize SharePoint and other systems to track assignments and update status.
• Escalate risk concerns to management and maintain data integrity and confidentiality.
• Follow department procedures for shared mailbox use.
• Perform assigned compliance testing and address concerns promptly.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
