Job summary

WesBanco is seeking a Loan Review Officer to provide independent evaluation of the loan portfolio quality, documentation adequacy, and loan administration effectiveness. You will assist with communicating results from reviews in verbal and written forms.

The position requires at least 3 years of Federal Bank Examiner, Loan Review, or Credit Analysis experience, with a Bachelor's degree in business. BAI Loan Review or RMA Credit Risk Certification is preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in business or related field is required.
• Minimum 3 years of experience as a Federal Bank Examiner, Loan Review or Credit Analyst.
• BAI Loan Review Certification or RMA Credit Risk Certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assess credit risk and monitor compliance with loan policy and regulations.
• Identify and assess credit, legal and strategic risks from lending activities.
• Evaluate collectability of extensions of credit and assign risk grades.
• Evaluate adequacy of loan and collateral documentation and loan administration.
• Review commercial credits of all types and complexities.
• Ability to lead exit meetings for unit reviews.
• Work under supervision of Loan Review Department Manager.
