Job summary

South College is seeking an experienced LMS Administrator to configure and secure the LMS, manage course provisioning, and orchestrate integrations with SIS and identity systems. You will partner with stakeholders to deliver scalable, high-quality solutions that support accreditation, accessibility, and instructional design needs.

The role emphasizes governance, documentation, and advancing an accessible, blueprint-driven LMS environment across multiple campuses and online programs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in IT or related field.
• 3+ years minimum experience as an LMS Administrator.
• Experience with security, privacy, and production systems.
• Proficiency in programming languages such as Java, Python, .Net.

Responsibilities

• Administer and configure the LMS, including system settings, roles, permissions, sub-accounts, and workflows.
• Manage term structures, course provisioning, and access controls aligned with centralized academic processes.
• Troubleshoot LMS issues related to permissions, enrollments, integrations, data syncs, and system behavior.
• Coordinate LMS updates, feature releases, and regression testing with IT and vendors.
• Administer the full lifecycle of LTI integrations, including configuration, security, testing, deployment, and retirement.
