Job summary

Qualifications

• Master's or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling or Psychology from an accredited institution.
• Valid and current licensure as LMFT, LCPC, or LCSW in Illinois.
• Successful completion of NCE and/or NCMHCE is mandatory.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills for clinical concepts.
• Exceptional interpersonal skills and empathetic client interactions.

Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough initial interviews and assessments, documenting case histories.
• Evaluate conditions to diagnose mental health issues using evidence-based practices.
• Develop personalized treatment plans with specific interventions and goals.
• Facilitate individual and group therapy sessions using effective therapeutic techniques.
• Monitor progress and adjust interventions to ensure efficacy and satisfaction.
• Collaborate with psychiatrists, social workers, and nurses for cohesive care.
• Follow up with clients during hospitalization to ensure ongoing needs are addressed.
• Educate family members and caregivers to support the client.
