Job summary

Skyrise Behavioral Health System is seeking a Remote Licensed Mental Health Counselor to join our outpatient team, delivering teletherapy from your home as a full-time clinician. You will provide high-quality mental health care to diverse clients with compassionate, patient-centered care.

The ideal candidate holds an IL license (LMFT/LCPC/LCSW) and a master's or doctoral degree, demonstrates excellent communication, and is committed to evidence-based practice.

Qualifications

• Master's or Doctorate in SW, mental health counseling, MFT, art therapy, or psychology.
• Illinois license as LMFT, LCPC, or LCSW is required.
• Strong interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills.
• Commitment to ongoing professional development and familiarity with evidence-based psychosocial interventions.
• Experience with electronic health record (EHR) systems preferred.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive assessments via video-based encounters and establish therapeutic rapport.
• Perform thorough mental health evaluations including medical history and mental status exams to inform treatment plans.
• Develop and implement evidence-based behavioral health treatment plans and monitor progress.
• Document and maintain secure patient information and treatment records per confidentiality and EHR standards.
• Stay current with research and training in psychosocial interventions to improve care.
