Job summary

Envision Psychotherapy Center in Johnson City, TN, seeks a full-time Licensed Mental Health Therapist for remote outpatient tele-therapy from home:

Position offers Monday–Friday 9:00 AM–6:00 PM with flexible scheduling. Requires LMFT/LPC/MHSP or LCSW licensure in Tennessee and a Master’s or Doctoral degree in a relevant field, plus experience in individual, group, and family therapy using evidence-based approaches.

Qualifications

• Master's or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from a recognized institution.
• Current and valid licensure as an LMFT, LPC/MHSP, LPC, or LCSW in Tennessee is essential.
• Experience with evidence-based treatments and culturally responsive practices.

Responsibilities

• Conduct culturally sensitive assessments and develop individualized treatment plans.
• Deliver evidence-based interventions (CBT, solution-focused therapy) tailored to each client.
• Facilitate individual, family, and group therapy sessions.
• Collaborate with psychiatrists and psychologists; participate in case conferences.
• Provide crisis intervention during mental health emergencies.
• Educate clients and families about conditions, treatments, and resources.
• Maintain confidential documentation per legal/ethical standards.
• Engage in team meetings and ongoing professional development.
• Stay updated on research and best practices in mental health.
