Job summary

Tyson & Mendes LLP is seeking a Litigation Legal Assistant to support civil litigation and insurance defense teams. You will draft and e-file documents, manage case calendars, coordinate hearings, and assist with trial preparation while upholding confidentiality and professionalism.

This full-time remote position requires 3+ years in litigation support, strong organizational and communication skills, and proficiency with MS Office and Westlaw.

Qualifications

• 3+ years' experience as a litigation legal assistant
• Experience with e-filing and court filings in civil litigation
• Strong organizational and communication skills
• Proficiency with MS Suite and Adobe Acrobat
• Knowledge of Westlaw and trial support procedures

Responsibilities

• Format pleadings and correspondence
• File and e-file documents in State, Federal, and Appellate Courts
• Prepare Table of Contents and Table of Authorities for motions
• Schedule depositions, hearings, and conference calls
• Docket case deadlines and manage calendars
• Assist with trial preparation and travel arrangements
• Support attorneys with daily administrative tasks
• Manage document organization and file management
