Government Accountability Project is seeking a Litigation Attorney for a 100% remote position to advance high-profile whistleblower cases across diverse industries, including pipeline safety, financial fraud, and public governance.

You will report to the Litigation Director, handle client liaison roles, conduct research, oversee depositions and trials, coordinate with outside counsel, and help prepare motions, briefs and staffing plans while upholding ethical standards and commitment to public

Qualifikationen

• JD with at least ten years of litigation experience.
• Active bar in a US state or DC, in good standing.
• Eligible to practice in DC within 360 days.

Aufgaben

• Advise whistleblowers on disclosures, retention strategies, and legal options.
• Serve as lead counsel in federal court and administrative litigation after probation.
• Conduct legal research, manage discovery, and draft affidavits.
• Coordinate with contractor attorneys and diverse teams.
• Prepare for and take witness depositions, supervise trial portions.
• Draft motions, briefs, and supervise document analysts.
• Assist in work planning and staffing discussions.
• Other related attorney duties as needed.
